Other approach

Our approach:

We haven chosen consiously for another approach in the textile industry.

Ecological dyeing: 0% pollution and we save ca.1 million liters of water daily.

Shredding the cutting table waste: an average of 8-9% of a role of fabrics is cutting waste. We use this to shred and spin. From the new yarn new textile products are produced. 0% vervuiling !

Shredding used products: used products are no longer burned in Europe, but collected and shipped to India to shred and spin and to produce new products.

Ecological savings: (an example)

Order: 10.000 poloshirts            Composition: 50% organic cotton / 50% recyclet polyester

  1. Savings on pesticides                              4.630 kilo
  2. Savings on Oil                                           2.780 liter
  3. CO2-prevention                                       19.600 kilo
  4. Water (eco-dyeing)                              370.000 liter

English Lessons: every day 2 hours of English education free of charge. Below here some pictures of the first day (of several) on which employees receive a certificate as they passed the first 6 months criterea.

Our Cook: dailiy preparing lunches for the employees

This is our way to contribute to a better environment for our employees, and prevent the examples below:

The Textile industry:
The textile industry is the most polluting industry in the world. Only the dyeing plants pollute 25% of all water yearly.

Mountains of cutting waste:
In most textile countries cutting waste is dumped. Only in Dhaka Bangladesh an estimated monthly amount of 60 million kilo’s is dumped and used as land filling. Beautiful raw materials of which perfect new products could be produced.
